I received another Influnenster VoxBox this month for free. It was a two-parter. First they sent out samples but did not tell you what brand it was. The first thing I noticed right out of the box was the smell. It smelled so good. When using it for the first time, I seriously thought I was at the salon; That’s what the smell reminded me of. After using this product one time I had noticed a difference in my hair right away. It was smoother than my regular flyaway hair and much easier to manage (not that it was difficult to manage beforehand). Now I didn’t want to say it was awesome right away because I knew that my hair always looks and feels great after using a new shampoo. But I have been using this product for a few weeks now and it still looks and smells great. The system consists of Shampoo, Conditioner, Split-end Bandage, and Strength Reconstructing Butter. I only received the butter when they revealed the brand so I’ve only used that once so far since you’re only supposed to use it about once a week. Personally, I don’t think you really need the butter. The purpose of the Damage Eraser system is to strengthen and restore hair that has been damaged by hair tools, hair dryers, etc. It also says it will make your hair resistant to future damage. I don’t really do much to damage my hair. Normally I just wash and let it air dry. Every few months I might take the hair dryer to it (which likes to suck my hair in and burn it off or tangle in the fan) and a couple times a month I might put the curling iron to it. So maybe I wasn’t the best person to test how it helps really damaged hair, but it still has made a difference. Before I started using this shampoo, there was only one shampoo that I really loved the smell of. I think I love this one even more, and how soft it makes my hair feel. For those two reasons, I can see myself sticking with this brand.

February 22, 2014 at 9:39 amI like that you specify that weeks later you’re still loving the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is the same when it comes to a new shampoo, so it’s important to me that it keeps bringing the magic, haha.

February 22, 2014 at 4:07 pmI might have to try this next. :p I have to change shampoo and conditioner brands every month because my hair can’t tolerate certain brands for more than a month at a time, though.
