So after my last blog post, I had a few games suggested to me plus I had also found one during my research online. Basically I spent the entire weekend trying out games and became addicted.
First I played ‘Banished’ which took over my life for about 24 hours. I finally gave up because I couldn’t figure out how to get the people to have babies. I may go back and try again in the future.
Next I played ‘Gone Home’ which I was able to beat in about an hour but it was still fun and exactly the type of game I had been looking for.
My boyfriend suggested a game called ‘Ori and the Blind Forest’. I didn’t spend too much time playing this one as it didn’t really capture my attention. But the graphics are really nice. I may try that one again sometime.
But the game that currently has my attention is ‘Cities: Skylines’. I kept failing it and starting over to fix my mistakes. The game that I currently have going is going ok. I am starting to have problems with my city but I am not beyond hope yet. The secret to this game is to take things slow, don’t build up the city too fast, make sure you are always making money, and DO NOT take out the loans.
