Happy St. Patrick’s Day you guys! After work tonight we went out to Red Robbins to get some green beers. It’s a tradition we have done every year since I moved to Alberta. Tonight’s beer wasn’t all that green though. Mine looked more like a yellow pee color haha.
Do you celebrate or have any St. Patrick’s Day traditions? I hear that it gets celebrated more in North America than it does in Ireland. I wonder why that is? For us it’s basically another reason to go out and get a drink.

March 18, 2015 at 2:53 amIt’s celebrated a lot in Ireland too, each town has their street parade, there are special music sessions, concerts, etc. I think it’s considered to be celebrated more in America because there are a lot of Irish people there and as always with people who live abroad, their own culture becomes very important and so the celebrations become extra everything. 🙂
