We had a pretty low-key weekend here. Saturday I spent all morning in bed which I haven’t done in probably a few years. I used to do that at my boyfriend’s house all the time watching TV but not since we moved in together. I miss having cable television so you could just flip to random shows.
Sunday was my boyfriend’s birthday. I spent some time in the morning driving around picking up a few last minute presents and his cake. Again we didn’t really do a whole lot throughout the day. In the evening we went out to a star party which is where they have telescopes set up so you can look at the stars. Unfortunately it was cloudy so we couldn’t see anything. But we did see a fox and some bison which made the hour drive each way a little less of a disappointment.
Today is labor day which is a holiday in Canada. I spent the morning updating my website Drag Him Out. After having a conversation with my mom, I decided to book my plane ticket home this afternoon. It was about $70 cheaper today than it was yesterday so instead of waiting to see if a cheaper price was going to come along, I decided to just do it. I hope I made the right choice. I will continue to monitor the price just to torture myself.
