In sitely news, I joined a new forum and a contest. The forum I previously told you I joined has pretty much died due to spammers. I found a new one called Pop which seems to be pretty good. The contest I joined is held at 6birds and it is a chance to win a .info domain. If I happen to win, I plan on using the domain to host the Nerd Listings.
In lifey news, this week hasn’t been too exciting. I wasn’t able to find any teaching jobs until today. The job is for tomorrow at another school I haven’t been to before. I’m wondering if it’s in a bad part of town or not because I think it is close to a school I was at last year that had some difficult students. I was able to pick-up some shifts at my part-time job this week which was good. I will also be working at the part-time job all weekend so that will keep me busy.
Tonight I am going out for supper with my family to celebrate my father’s retirement. What I think is interesting is that my dad and my boyfriend’s dad both retired within like a month of each other. I’m wondering what dad is going to do with all his free time now because he hates just sitting around all of the time. Time will tell.

Good luck with the contest!
The POP community is a wonderful forum, I’m part of it and the members are very friendly
Goodluck in the contest.
I hate having nothing to do with free time but usually I don’t have much, maybe your dad will pick up an interesting hobby to keep himself occupied, but like you said only time will tell.
Maybe your Dad can get a part time or leisure job to do something he likes? Don’t think my Dad will ever retire. There’s nothing for him to do at home.
You don’t have a stable teaching job? I’m sure there’s one out there that will take you in regularly

No, I’m a substitute. There are a few reasons why I don’t have a full time teaching job. The main one being there aren’t many jobs in my province available right now.
Sorry for the double comment but the function was a school project
Oh wow, your dad hates sitting around with nothing to do. I’d LOVE it SOO much right now! LOL! Working isn’t all that great… =( Hahah.
Are there no full-time teaching positions open around your area? I’m glad you were able to pick up a couple shifts though. Around what grades do you teach? I think 3rd or 4th grade is the maximum age-range that I can handle. After that the kids are extremely mean and they think you’re a loser – when they start developing attitude and “finding their niche”. *shudders*
hehe, maybe your dad will start gardening? =P

No, there aren’t really any full-time teaching positions in my area. Also, I’m waiting for my boyfriend to find a job because there aren’t any for him here either so I’m going to end up moving in the next few months (hopefully). I am trained to teach from grade primary to grade 9 but I haven’t gone higher than grade 5 yet. I think my favorite are grade 3 or 4.
