Validated

February 16, 2010

I just finished going through all of my website pages and made sure they all passed validation. All the codes should be now up to date! I plan on going through my website and reorganizing some pages and maybe deleting some other ones. Eventually I would also like to make a new layout but I think it’s going to be a little while before you see that. I’m also going to try and figure out if there is a way to import Cutenews. I did find a plugin, but I don’t know the correct path to my Cutenews. I really hope that I can figure something out because it would really suck to have to lose everything I wrote in the last few years. I also have a bunch of comments to return. Don’t think that I have forgotten!

<EDIT> I got Cutenews imported!! But I lost my comments. :( </EDIT>

Sorry to hear that you lost your comments =(

Hehe about validating and going through your site. Good luck with that. I validated mine’s a couple of years back, but I’ve stopped now. I don’t do much with my sites… =/ I just don’t have the time/energy to anymore.

Ha yeah they are brick… or sorta stony. And they’re pretty much exactly the same as the old school rendered brick, it reminds me of exactly the same thing actually lol .

I admire your dedication to your site. I don’t have the patience for validation, only because I take so many shortcuts I’d have to change the entire code of my site for it to be properly validated haha.

Have you ever considered upgrading to wordpress? I know cute news is easy to understand and install, I know, I used to love it too! But wordpress blows it clear out of the water! I know that when I first installed it I was like: WTF?! So then I deleted it and went back to blogger because I was too lazy to install cutenews, but once I figured if out it was like fireworks. It allows for a dynamic blogging experience, plus once you make your first layout, it makes layout design a snap. I have this tutorial on another blog in my bookmarks about wordpress and specifically theme making. Check it out:

plus I think there is a way to import your cute news entries to wordpress, I would look it up first before backing up your blog.
