Herbal Essences Naked

You know those shampoos that smell amazing in the shower? This is not one of them. But the problem with those other shampoos is that once your shower is over, usually so is the scent. That’s the thing I love about the new Herbal Essences Naked line. The scent is not overpoweringly strong in the shower, but it lasts until your next shower (which for me is every other day). I like when I’m laying in bed and I can smell the light scent of white grapefruit and mint.

I got to try the Herbal Essences Naked Volume shampoo, conditioner, and soufflé for free thanks to bzzagent.com for about three weeks now. I haven’t been really using the soufflé because I didn’t notice much difference between when I used it, and when I did not. For me, a product has to pull it’s weight in order for me to use it. If I see no difference, then you’re done. Also, with the title “Volume” in the name of the products, I was expecting my hair to be less flat than it normally is. To be honest, it really doesn’t look much different.

According to the Herbal Essences website, the Naked products have “0% heavy residues, parabens, and dyes, [the] volume shampoo and conditioner will restore 100% of your hair’s natural body and your strands will feel revitalized and refreshed.” While I really do like the lightness and long lasting scent of the new products, that’s really all I like about these products. They are very similar to other products out there. To be fair though, I don’t use many products in the hair routine. So maybe for someone who has more product build-up, this shampoo and conditioner would show more changes than it did for me.
