The other day when I was driving home from work, it started raining very lightly. Not really enough to NEED my windshield wipers, but enough that I wanted to make sure I knew how if it did get harder. I’ve never driven in the rain in my new car yet so I haven’t had to try the wipers yet.
So I attempted to turn them on, but instead I made the wiper fluid spray the window. I tried again and this time sprayed the back window. On my third attempt I sprayed the front window again. I finally got the wiper to wipe the window, but since the rain was so light, I just wiped it once and turned it back off. A few minutes later I wanted to wipe the window again, and I got the wiper fluid AGAIN! It’s going to take me some time to make sure I get it right each time. Thankfully it doesn’t often rain here.
Today I woke up with a sore throat. But I had things to do. In the morning I was able to clean both of our bathrooms while I waited for the stores to open.
I went for my longest drive yet to pick up some things from our West End store. It took about 15 minutes to get there. The hardest part was trying to figure out what lane I was supposed to be in. But I made it there fine.
On the way home I stopped at the West Edmonton Mall but wasn’t really in the mood to shop. I was feeling very insecure while walking around for some reason. I don’t know if it was because I was nervous from driving there, or because I was wearing glasses. I don’t usually wear glasses unless I’m driving. But I do generally wear them when I shop because I get a headache otherwise.
Since I was hungry I decided to see if Dream Tea was open yet (they were doing renovations). They were open, so I got a bubble tea and walked around T&T (the asian grocery store) while I drank it. Then I left the mall and drove to the store that I work at to drop off the items I got from the other store. Finally I went home for lunch.
I watched some tv while eating lunch and my nose started getting stuffed up. All afternoon to now I’ve been sneezing off and on. I feel pretty miserable, but thankfully had the day off so I could relax. I also have tomorrow off so maybe if I’m lucky, this sickness will go away.
